Photos from the scene

The wedding vows were exchanged in St. Ignatius Jacobite Syrian Church.

Mathew & Ria’s wedding – a Jacobite Syrian catholic wedding have a different culture and custom.

The sari, which the groom presents to his bride in church called MANTRA KODI

The groom puts the sari on the brides head in front of the priest.

We got good shots of the bride in the white gown.

The theme of this wedding was dark blue. Both married and unmarried girls were allowed to be the bride’s maid and maid of honor.

The rituals of the syrian catholic wedding are slightly different than a catholic wedding.

They have a pre-wedding, they have the matrimony ceremony in church and a reception post the church function.

The ambient light and the evening was beautiful.

We got some lovely couple shots and some shot at the reception with family and friends.

Creative shots like reflection painting and off camera flash photography taken of the bride and groom.
