Photography & Cinematography Services
1. Agreement
This agreement is between Lesmasphotos (referred to as “the Studio”) and the Client who books photography or cinematography services.
Confirming a booking with the Studio implies acceptance of the Terms & Conditions mentioned below.
2. Booking & Payment
A 50% booking amount is required to confirm the event date and secure the services of the Studio.
The remaining 50% balance must be cleared on or before the day of the event. All deliverables will be released only after full payment has been received.
The booking amount is non-refundable as the event date is reserved exclusively for the Client and other assignments may be declined.
3. Coverage
The Studio will cover the events and functions as mutually agreed at the time of booking. Coverage may include candid photography, cinematic videography, portraits and traditional photographs unless otherwise specified. The Client agrees to adhere to the agreed schedule and coverage duration. The Studio will not be held responsible for missed coverage caused by delays or schedule changes beyond the agreed timeline.
4. Creative Style & Editing
The Client acknowledges that photography and cinematography are creative services. Editing style, colour grading, music selection and overall presentation of the final photographs and films are at the creative discretion of the Studio. Minor revisions may be accommodated where possible. Major re-editing requests may incur additional charges.
5. Deliverables
The Studio delivers a carefully curated and professionally edited collection of photographs and films that best represent the event. Deliverables may include (depending on the package selected):
• Edited photographs
• Wedding highlight / cinematic teaser
• Full ceremony or event videos
• Photo albums
Album layouts and design will be created by the Studio. Only image selection and minor placement adjustments will be entertained.
6. RAW / Unprocessed Files
The Studio delivers final edited photographs and films as part of its services.
RAW / unprocessed camera files are not included in the standard deliverables. If the Client wishes to obtain a copy of the RAW / unprocessed images or video footage, this must be requested in advance and will be provided at an additional cost determined by the Studio. Due to the large file sizes involved, RAW data will only be provided if the Client supplies a suitable external storage device with sufficient free space. Such files are supplied strictly for personal archival purposes and do not represent the final quality or style of the Studio.
7. Client Responsibilities
The Client is responsible for:
• Obtaining any necessary permissions from venues, churches, temples or other locations for photography and videography
• Informing the Studio of important individuals or moments to be captured
• Ensuring the schedule allows sufficient time for coverage
The Studio cannot guarantee coverage of every guest or moment during large events.
8. Audio Recording
For optimal audio quality in video recordings, access to the venue’s sound system may be required.
If such access is not permitted, or required audio outputs not available, audio may be recorded using ambient microphones which may affect sound clarity.
9. Guest & Vendor Interference
Guests are welcome to take casual photographs and videos during the event.
However, the Client agrees that guests, relatives, or other vendors will not obstruct or interfere with the Studio’s work, lighting setups, or directed photography/video moments.
The Studio will not be held responsible for missed shots or compromised footage caused by guest interference or obstruction.
10. Exclusive Coverage
No other professional photographer or videographer may replicate poses, lighting setups, or directed shots created by the Studio during the event unless prior permission is granted.
11. Editing & Revision Timeline
The Client may request minor revisions within 5 days of receiving the final deliverables.
Requests received after this period may not be accommodated or may incur additional editing charges.
The Studio is not obligated to store project files beyond the data retention period mentioned below.
12. Cancellation Policy
In the event of cancellation by the Client, the booking amount is non-refundable.
If the Studio is unable to attend due to illness, emergency or circumstances beyond control, reasonable efforts will be made to arrange a replacement photographer or videographer of similar skill and experience.
13. Data Storage
The Studio will retain the event data for up to 6 months from the event date.
Clients are responsible for creating their own backups once the data has been delivered.
14. Technical Failure / Liability
While every reasonable effort is made to safeguard captured media, cameras, storage devices and other equipment may occasionally experience technical failure.
In the unlikely event of data loss or damage beyond the Studio’s control, liability will be limited to the amount paid by the Client for the affected service.
15. Copyright & Usage
All photographs and videos remain the intellectual property of Lesmasphotos.
The Client receives a personal usage license to print, share and distribute the images and videos for non-commercial purposes.
The Studio reserves the right to use selected images or clips for portfolio, social media, website and promotional purposes, unless the Client specifically requests otherwise in advance.
16. Collection of Deliverables
Clients may collect albums, hard drives or other deliverables from the Studio’s address in Mira Road, unless alternative arrangements are mutually agreed. Edited data will be sent to the Client only via an online link.
17. Acceptance
By confirming the booking and making the booking payment, the Client acknowledges that they have read, understood and agreed to these Terms & Conditions..
